  • A standard string quartet includes two violins, a viola, and a cello. A string trio consists of one violin, one viola, and one cello.

  • Not at all! While we are all members of the Memphis Symphony and we love timeless classical pieces, we also perform modern love songs, pop hits, indie favorites, movie soundtracks, and more — all arranged for strings. Our repertoire includes everything from Bach to Beyoncé. Feel free to browse our song library.

  • We can perform for any part of your wedding day, including:

  • Most couples book 6–12 months in advance, especially for popular wedding dates. We recommend reaching out as soon as you know your event date so we can reserve your spot on our calendar.

  • Pricing depends on the ensemble size, performance duration, and any custom arrangements you request. We offer a range of packages to fit different needs, and we’ll walk you through options during your consultation.

  • Yes, we do! For outdoor performances, the following conditions must be met:


    • Temperature must be 60°F or higher

    • Full shade or shelter must be provided to protect from sun or rain

    • There must be no precipitation (even the slightest drizzle).

  • Our musicians wear formal black attire:

    • Male performers: tuxedos or black suits

    • Female performers: formal black


      If you have a specific dress code, let us know at the time of booking. We’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • Our ensembles require the following space:

    • Solo musician: 4’ x 4’

    • Duo: 5’ x 5’

    • Trio: 6’ x 6’

    • Quartet: 12’ x 4’

    Please provide one straight-backed armless chair per musician. A nearby space for cases and personal items is appreciated.

  • We typically do not attend rehearsals, but it may be possible as an additional booking. Please inquire for availability.

  • Yes, we’d love to! We typically rehearse with the singer 30 minutes before the prelude, and rehearsal time will be billed accordingly.

  • Yes. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total cost is required at the time of booking, along with your signed contract.

  • Absolutely. If you have a special song that’s meaningful to you, we’re happy to arrange it for an additional charge. Custom arrangements can take a little extra time, so we recommend sharing requests early in the planning process.
